"How do you know Iím mad?" said Alice. "You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldnít have come here.Ē

I will look at that.. later. I just think a person who believes God exists should/could prove it. I am not being obtuse.

Theology has never claimed to be a science though. Back in the old days before science, it was a major strand of philosophy, and in fact physics was born out of philosophy. Aristotle wrote a book entitled Physics and the science later became known as natural philosophy.

I can't seem to find who coined the term political science, but it seems that students of it believe it was a term in use by 1850, although if you think about it, they are just scanning old books. It was not a recognised subject or anything. It's a new invention.

I'm an atheist. While it's impossible to prove that God doesn't exist, it's equally impossible to prove 'he' does exist.

The God of religion is an invention of religion, based on a subjective interpretation of the world and tailored to the needs of the hierarchy that runs the religion and / or the society that follows it.

It always makes me smile that those who claim no belief are almost always the most vociferous in finding ways to deny God and belittle those who believe. I don't mind at all if someone believes or not, we all have free choice. My faith and belief is that we have been given the promise of eternal life and that, together with how my belief is put together, answers all the questions I have had over many years.

How about the way that if you put some cables behind a TV and then go away for 10 minutes, when you come back they are all tangled up - to me this is proof of the existence of god.
