Looks like the ole Frenchies are now calling for FREXIT. Think Juncker’s areshole will be twitching a bit more if the movement takes a further grip lol.
I can explain it to you, but I canít understand it for you.

I don't want to know about Juncher and his bits thank you. Frexit is what I want to know about.

the MET have not released any estimates.

As of November 2018 they had zero data on the numbers.

    https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/reque...r_of_attendees

The 250k figure was (afaik*) sourced by the express who claimed a MET source said it was 250k, however a more recent MET communication denied they had any figures.

There are MET estimates for the 23 June 18 marches which were 25k anti Brexit and 1k pro Brexit.

For what it's worth my fag packet calc based on nearly ~3h of free flowing marchers passing down Piccadilly was somewhere between 350k and 450k

It's also worth noting that there were no arrests or incidents at the people's march whilst there have been numerous arrests and incidents at the vastly smaller pro brexit gatherings, especially the recent ones involving hi-viz attire.

*Happy to be corrected if a MET source can be found

There were never 700,000 marchers in support of Remain, peaceful or otherwise; that is an urban myth peddled by the ignorant and the disingenuous. Nevertheless there are more effective means of protest and civil disobedience available to the thinking person when the time is right, other than joining a bunch of far right Tommy Robinson lookalike morons. I agree with you objective Scott777 but not with your strategy for achieving it.

    Absolutely right.
Avoiding purchases from certain countries for even a few weeks will make them sit up and take notice.

Isn't it amazing that the number was trumpeted by the remainers when the only numbers that really counted were at the referendum which were over one and a quarter million greater,a number described as those same remainers as tiny, slim or insignificant.
The new parliamentary democracy,it's not the will of the people that counts but the will of 650......will come back to haunt them.

I am surprised how popular this personal decision has become recently. Certainly many in our circle are avoiding buying imported produce when home produced is available.
