Many more people see through Farage these days. He revealed something of his true colours when he openly supported that racist, misogynist xenophobe Donald Trump.

He is at least a partially busted flush.
You were unable to argue against my post in a reasoned way so you just typed balderdash. Your right, of course, on a forum. However it isn't gaining any respect from me.

    Farage HAS openly supported Trump.

Trump IS a racist misogynist xenophobe.

Farage HAS lost a lot of credibility as a result, with more people seeing through him.

And you WERE talking of him almost in terms of the cavalry charging to the rescue.

What part of that is balderdash?

As for me earning your respect, it would come at the cost of losing my own self respect if it meant agreeing with some of your opinions. So disrespect me all you like. I'll wear it as a badge of honour.

My post never mentioned Trump, it was about Farage, that's the thread subject

In your opinion, although putting IS in bold really does help your argument.

Farage still has immense support in this country.

And you WERE talking of him almost in terms of the cavalry charging to the rescue.
Was I really? Where did I use the term cavalry, charging or to the rescue. I may have said almost, but you are trying out the biggest strawman I've seen from you, since the last one.

    All of it

You have my respect for being an eloquent poster. Unfortunately, the actual content and political sentiment is an emetic to me.

Are you still a xenophobe if you marry a foreigner? Or does wanting to protect your borders from hordes make you xenophobic? Farage and Trump seem to have both those in common.

If Merkel had taken a Trumpian stance we would be better off. Farage seems to be castigated for a poster displaying a line of immigrants en route to or through Europe. It was not doctored and made fair representation of reality. That it was unpalatable to some, does not mean it is xenophobic.
Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery.
