    Oh god, not another one.

I wonder what that would look like if a proper trophy was on the countdown instead.

Not sure you're playing Spurs this weekend!!
Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery.

I have, for many reasons, chosen to follow a local rugby club. I suppose my interest began when i actually played the game in college, (badly) and through membership of a local club, of modest achievements, whose players were perhaps only one order of magnitude above my own, I was able to acquire modestly priced tickets to see the BIG boys do their thing.

When I moved to my current town of residence as a young newlywed i retained an interest in local club level rugby, and I still do, It constantly amuses me that while the football stadium eleven miles away requires razor wire and gun turrets to control the fans, the only thing standing between our club's fans and a pitch invasion, even on the few days tens of thousands turn up, is a small yellow and black sign requesting patrons not to walk on the pitch as they make their way to the seats in the north stand, and a sole steward, a woman in her mid sixties, stood by that sign with arms folded and a face like thunder.

But the (alas recently widowed) Mrs Sheppard is a formidable woman, an active Brown Owl and a woman most definitely NOT to be messed with.

But I digress. What I came to ask is this.

Even though the team i follow can often be walked over by the reserve team of some of its higher paid, astronomically higher gate fee charging rivals, I still leave the ground feeling that I have been entertained for the afternoon. And every so often the divine dice roll a curved ball and we serve up a lesson in why one should never underestimate the underdog.

Are you *REALLY* so absolutely certain you actually get your money's worth ?
    My God NO.
