8000 lies or misleading statements in two years! This creature really is beyond parody. An appalling record from a so called honest politician.

"8000 lies or misleading statements" - poor use of language there Albert. How many of the 8000 were lies, and what constitutes a lie? And what is misleading? I might say something which you take as misleading but isn't at all. I'm not defending the man, just finding the attacks on him to be somewhat unreasonable, not least from The Washington Post and CNN. That's not to say that FOX should be listened to, but those two are incapable of having an impartial outlook on things.

I do wonder though, how many times Obama was taken to task for lying over, say, closing Guantanamo Bay? In his 2008 "manifesto" he promised to close it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8USRg3h4AdE

Attcks on on him somewhat unreasonable? Really? I suspect that the people who are suffering as a result of his lies find him somewhat unreasonable!
As for Obama, I won't defend him. It's the audacious nature of Trump's lies that are different. He just makes things up.

Yes unreasonable, as reason seems not to come into and agenda does. I look at things like this - https://www.politifact.com/personali...yruling/false/ - and think, big deal. But I look at people like CNN, Washington Post and just see an inability to be balanced. You yourself have done it with your 8000 lies and misleading statements. How many of those 8000 are lies, as a lie is very different from a misleading statement? As it is, I think that the count is quite far north of 9000.

For balance, here is a bit about Clinton (who not being POTUS, has only 2 pages rather than 12): https://www.politifact.com/personali...yruling/false/

I have no desire say that other liars are better or worse than 45, but it's the effrontery of the fellow that irks. Still,if you like him.......

If I am honest, unlike many in this country for some reason, I look at him as the President of USA and not of Britain. It's up to them to sort out, not you or me. Do you have any thoughts on Trudeau?

The scandal swirling around him is serious. If he falls in next October's election he does. However he does seem to have more integrity as a person than Trump.
Unfortunately for us the USA is highly influential in our politics. After Brexit their power over trade terms will only increase to the detriment of our ability to resist their insistence over many matters, food standards, health care and pharmaceutical products to name but a few.

President Donald Trump has revoked a policy set by his predecessor requiring US intelligence officials to publish the number of civilians killed in drone strikes outside of war zones.
The 2016 executive order was brought in by then-President Barack Obama, who was under pressure to be more transparent.
Since the 9/11 terror attack, drone strikes have been increasingly used against terror and military targets.
The Trump administration said the rule was "superfluous" and distracting.

See, this is what Trump does to people. Faux-shock, leading to people writing gibberish.
