Banks hit for 24 billion euros in Spain, no wait...

The supreme court in Spain has decided that lenders are responsible for a mortgage tax, not the poor mortgage payer, and the likely reclaims will cost those banks an eye watering 24 billion euros.

Of course, we all know the power the banks have, they are not going to lose that sort of money (which they were bailed out for more in Spain) so the Court now has to reconsider because of its “enormous economic and social repercussions.”

What was that about the "regime" running the shop?
