People's Vote March 20th October London

For those who are interested in the people being given the final say on the details of the Brexit deal (if there even if one), there is a major march happening in London on Saturday.

There is coach transport being arranged from all around the country.

    https://www.peoples-vote.uk/

This campaign kicked off before the Summer and at the London March we had about two thirds of a coach load going down from Manchester. This time they have already filled 4 coaches and counting.

We have also seen that this campaign has gone from being ignored, to being villified by the Daily Express on the front page, which is probably a good thing as it means they are concerned.

Support amongst the general population for a People's Vote has increased significantly in recent months and was running over 20 points ahead of those against in some recent polls.

The last demo had 100,000 people and this one looks like it might be even bigger.

    And in the other polls?
those princes have accomplished most who paid little heed to keeping their promises, but who knew how to manipulate the minds of men craftily.

    Really?
Surely the coaches that will have brought them to the march can take them home again...?

I’m actually thinking of going. Not sure it’s going to do any good. But it’s something I can support...

    A whole 100,00 !!

That’s 0.3% of the votes cast in the 2017 General, it’s a 5th of what UKIP got, it’s the same as the SDLP got.

Its also the same as a crowd at the MCG for a test match.

As for your 20 point lead...Lead over what exactly, a load of people who can’t be bothered to entertain a bunch of sad losers who still demand democracy?

There isn’t going to be a second people’s vote for the simple reason that if any PM was stupid enough to try and get it through the Commons they would lose spectacularly. MP’s know the make of their own constituency and seeing that Leave got 406 versus 242 for Remain they would be pretty stupid to vote it through.

Leave won 63% of constituencies in the UK, the coffee is brewing, smell it !
I can explain it to you, but I canít understand it for you.

Probably about time we pencilled in a date, perhaps sometime late in 2020 for a third 'People's Vote' just in case there actually is an 'antidemocrats' vote which changes what the People's Vote has already voted for.

The bottom line is that unless the UK leaves the EU with a mutually acceptable deal or with no deal, then democracy will have been ridden roughshod over and will to all intents and purposes have died in the UK.
