Gov charges double to 400 p.a. for non EU migrants to access our NHS

It's now going to be 400 per year instead of 200. The government intend to raise it to 600 eventually.

I don't see a problem as it ensures we are not providing universal healthcare to the whole universe. 400 is cheap as the UK pays 300 per month for each ex-pat living in the EU using the form S1 as pensioners.

I believe that no non EU immigrant should be treated until they produce evidence of insurance, or a valid credit card, much the same as other countries throughout the world, After Brexit I would include EU residents. That said, our NHS service is so bloody useless I doubt they would want to use it a second time !!

I think that is very disrespectful to the NHS and I for one have never had a single bad experience.
I can explain it to you, but I cant understand it for you.

Perhaps I should move to where you live, because I can't remember having a good one. I could write a small book on the poor experiences and ridiculous waiting times I have experienced.

where would you like me to start.

I find that quite impossible to take seriously given the way things have degenerated since 1981.

I was, however, quite stunned to find our GP receptionist handing a dalek suited woman a bill when I was last there about a month and a half ago...

Sorry, I have already responded to your post once, but have since realised that you were being sarcastic. Now I feel stupid

My local hospital is brilliant. Never had a bad turn with them. So good in fact, that I have cancelled all private health insurance.

LOL. So is mine. I only have to travel 45 minutes to get there, but then they give me a 3 course meal with champagne, and ensure I never have to wait. All the nurses are beautiful, and the treatment is excellent.
