So do you purely go by feelings?

Gotta be careful. I always thought a phobia was a fear of something. But dictionary definitions currently seem to include 'aversion' of something, and it can be rational.

I've seen some application forms for jobs from Muslim people and in general they are quite good at English and spelling.

Here in Lombardy we are doing everything we can to prevent the spreading of Islam. We recently approved extremely tough construction laws, specifically written and aimed to prevent the rise of new mosques. We also banned burqas from public buildings (hospitals, city halls, public offices in general, etc). The regional junta is also cutting funding to those municipalities that support the construction of islamic places of worship. In my town we gathered enough signatures to make the Mayor change his mind, but it was too late - we voted the Northern League into office, and the project simply died out (thankfully).

Subjective hogwash , if people do not like people , it is their personal choice and not something that should be dictated because mediocre minds get offended if somebody does not like them . This is not to say that all people who are Islam have mediocre minds but rather an objective point that the world is full of cry babies who get offended so easily.
