A businessman was offered a deal in a Russian goldmine that he turned down.

Sorry but I dont see what the connection with Brexit is - he refused the deal so how did he make any money out of it?

The blog obviously did upset you as you keep going on about it .

...and as ever , you avoid the majority of questions in my posts and divert onto minutiae .

You didnt point out it was wrong , you were merely arguing semantics over one small part of it when anyone could see what he meant if they actually read the content of the article.

Im more offendended by your ignorance and dishonest debating than by anything you are posting , you havent shown me to be a fool in any way and i still believe his blog and what he has written because so far 50 odd pages into this thread you havent once shown where richard norths blog or anyone elses articles and links have been incorrect except to pick up and argue semantics over eu membership/single market membership with regards to EASA.

EASA is only one small part of the overall brexit negotiations , where we have went from brexiters telling us about the easiest free trade deal in history to now , 7 months before Brexit day , running around squealing and begging to be allowed to remain in organisations like EASA.

Who is the fool , the one who believes a factually correct blog or those who believe in leaving the house and family but retaining access to the pantry for cake and biscuits ?

Of course, he never makes money from anywhere he doesn’t want us to know about. That’s how it works. Politicians (as he is when he becomes involved in shaping the direction of a countries economy) or businessmen will never be placed in a position where monies given to them that would appear suspect can be traced to source. They’re not stupid. That doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. It appears he did refuse this particular deal, but who’s to say it wasn’t given to him in a more discreet way... It’s connection with Brexit is that I believe Brexit was, in part, influenced by individuals (from abroad and home) who used Brexit to stir up right wing nationalism in order to influence economically and socially vulnerable people to vote Leave. It also made certain ‘businessmen’ very wealthy. It will come out, as it is now doing, but it will be too late to stop a fragile and divided government making very bad choices that will ruin our economy.

Look the whole story from the blog was about what could happen if we didnt join EASA and was based on the guys belief that we were unable to remain a member. As we have shown that is incorrect, there is no reason why the UK cannot remain in EASA and in fact has already asked to remain a member.

So, again, sorry if you are offended by that but thems the facts.

Yes I would have advocated Nigel, but not Farage. Lawson.

    where have you shown this?

You have shown nothing except the decision is out of your hands. Thats hardly concrete evidence you can remain a member by your choice alone.

So, again, sorry if you are offended by that but thems the facts.
no jeffey thems your interpretations of the facts , and i beg to differ.

No offence taken here old bean.

A certain amount of chuckling about your delusions of grandeur , nothing more.

The one where you pedantically had to pick out eu membership isnt the same as single market membership as you then , as now had nothing else to offer regarding the uk being allowed to stay in EASA except continually crying "but we want to! Theresa said!"

As i said , you dont do experts do you jeffey? Unless they are singing from your hym sheet?

    Ah well nevermind.

Hows brexit going ? you left yet?
