The EU referendum has set me thinking about what could happen if Donald Trump becomes president of the USA and continues to be provocative, insulting and divisive when he's in office.

There are movements in some states for cessation from the USA but they don't have much support. There is also the more worrying phenomenon of far-right anti federalist militias. The anti federalists would probably welcome Trump becoming president because they agree with a lot of his supposedly libertarian ideas and they might be able to use his presidency to advance their own interests.

If Trump upsets the people in states where there are already small cessation movements, could that lead to the start of the break-up of the USA? Particularly in the unlikely event of him winning a second term.
