    Korea

    Hey.

Are you Brits going to go over and help the South Koreans out like you did in 1950 if the crisis escalates?

Maybe you will just sit back and let the US do it and then bitch about American imperialism, which is your favorite pastime.
Libtards hate freedom unless it is the freedom to kill a child on demand for the sake of convenience. Otherwise they want the government to control every aspect of our lives.

Have the Americans taken any action yet? Nothing has yet been decided by anyone, me I will continue to simply do as I always do, wave my private parts at the aunties of all mankind! Care to Join in, so much more fun than shooting the, erm, what do they call em again? Not the Cambodians, Not the Vietnamese, the other Zipperheads, I cant remember, but oddly enough that song by the clash is stuck in my head, you know the one, "Korean opportunities"!

Unlikely we're a bit tied up in Afghanistan to be honest, so are US troops for that matter.

You created the situation, you deal with it. Britain has had enough of sweeping up your sh** for you, hopefully our government won't be stupid enough to do it again.

The likelyhood of you being observed is directly proportionate to the stupidity of your actions.

You Brits participated with the UN forces when they stopped the Soviet backed commies from taking over South Korea back in 1950 so I was wondering if you would participate again. After all you are a member of the UN, arenít you? Donít you Socialists love the friggin UN? You don't pass up to many UN sanctioned wars, do you?

If you would bother to have paid attention to what I have been saying in almost every thread you would remember that I am an American non interventionists. I have only like said that a hundred times but your reading comprehension is close to nil.

I donít think the US shouldnít guarantee the security of South Korea just like I think we shouldnít have aided the UK in WWI and WWII. It is just not in our interest to do so. The last thing we need is to be pulled into a land war in Asia where 50,000 brave American troops will die just so some foreigners can live well. The US has a bad habit of fighting other peopleís wars for them like we did in Europe in WWI and WWII and that is not what we should be doing.

The Cold War is over now and South Korea has one of the strongest militaries and strongest economies in the world. They can provide for their own security especially against a failed Socialist country like North Korea.

I have great admiration and respect for the Korean people and wish them well. The commies in North Korea are a bunch of wackos just like commies all around the world but I think the South Koreans can prevail over them.

Our troops need to be defending America instead of every country in the world with a lobbyist in DC.

Japan are chomping at the bit to give a hand in the situation, Flash.
Will that be a good thing?

As Flash said, the UK was as much a participant in the Korean conflict as the US.

It does strike me as a little amusing when brits criticise US 'imperialism' as though the UK has not also been a more than willing participant in the spread of western values across the world.
So unproductive has conservatism been in producing a general conception of how a social order is maintained that its modern votaries, in trying to construct a theoretical foundation, invariably find themselves appealing almost exclusively to authors who regarded themselves as liberal. - F.A. Your credibility about your none interventionalist clap trap flew out the window a long time ago. You posted a thread glorying in what your son had done in Iraq, which was a US led intervention was it not? You gloried in the actions of a few Norwegian psychopaths that were part of the US led intervention. You deffended the actions of a botched US rescue attempt, also part of a US led intervention force. And you've consistently voted for a president who's central policy was intervention in other countries.

I hope that Britain stays out of it. As for the US, they owe it to the people of south east Asia and Indo China to assist and help in any way they can. If that means providing security and protection then they should do it. After all, the majority of the problems in those regions are down to US interference and intervention.
