Are women responsible for dumb tv?

    I barely watch TV.

However, the other week, I happened to stumble across something called 'Loose Women'. My oh my. This makes the X Factor and I'm A Celebrity appear almost cerebral.

I have NEVER come across such a pile of utter DROSS in my whole life.

I can't even escape from such garbage, even if I don't watch tv.

People then want to discuss it....on Facebook.

Here is a 2007 article, by Patrick Moore.

    Discuss...

Don't read your own thread starting posts then Jack. I suggest you start so you know how we feel..

bet this gets edited. Take care all the decent people here. have fun.

You seem to enjoy them, since you spend most of your time following me around this forum.

    No matter.

    I enjoy your attention, ducky.

It is only one example, you cannot judge women in TV just on one program

Yes - it is one example.

So, let me throw in some more examples.

With each example, please let me know who you believe tunes into them more - men or women.

    Jeremy Kyle?

    Trish Goddard?

    Eastenders?

    X-Factor?

I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here?

    Big Brother?

Gordon Ramsay's F Word (or whatever it's called).

    How Clean Is Your House?

    Those will do for now.

No, Jack, YOU are responsible. I don't know about those programs because I don't watch them. you do so you must watch them, therefore it's your fault that they are made because the makers are only responding to you watching them. Stop watching them and they won't be made. I repeat, it's your fault Jack, for shame......

Watching daytime television polutes the mind. Daytime TV is specifically tailored towards stupid people that have nothing better to do, male and female alike. Stumbling across such programs is forgivable. Watching them for anything past the 60 seconds it should take to figure out that one has stumbled across something utterly mind numbing shows either a very bizzare curiousity or stupidity.

The likelyhood of you being observed is directly proportionate to the stupidity of your actions.

In the world we live in today, it is all about selling products. Does not matter how stupid the program is. If it is not selling the products advertised to the satisfaction of the advertisers it is not on air.

The main blame for the slew of trash on telly and probably popular music also, lays at the door of teenagers. They are the ones that predominantly vote on these shows and buy the music. If its anyone blame the younger generation.
