Born, brought up and married in England.. yet refused entry into UK

US born Stephen Hewitt, who was brought up,schooled, and married in England, and who got his first job here, has been banned from living in England.

Mr Hewitt, 50, whose English ancestry days back to the 15th century and whose father was an officer at Sandhurst, spent 18 years in the UK from age of four to 22 before returning to America.

Now he wants to come back to England to be reunited with his three daughters, grandson, parents aunts and uncles, all of whom live here.

But an immigration tribunal has ruled Mr Hewitt cannot be a permanent resident because his UK ties are 'not strong enough' due to his British father being born in Holland and the fact he has not lived in England for over two years.

The case comes after former Guantanamo Bay detainee Binyam Mohamed was granted permanent residency in Britain and after new figures showed 135,000 failed asylum keepers had been allowed to stay here under an 'an amnesty.....

Shocking decision, as a nation you let any trash walk simply walk into Britain from eastern Europe or arrive here claiming asylum and claim rafts of benefits then someone with clear ties and with skills and money to boot is refused. You wonder if the government is seriously try to divide, suppress and conquer the British people.

You say it like it's a bad thing?

It's certainly very screwy that's for sure; if the government is letting tens of thousands of immigrants without a single tie to the UK into the country, unless there are significant reasons which haven't been revealed, the decision to refuse Mr. Hewitt, someone with significant British connections, residency does seem very odd to say the least.

The thing is though its not OUR government who let in the "people with no ties to the country" its down to our EU membership and immigration policy therein. We are tied into that, just as our immigration rules with regards to America are tying the hands of the tribunal. Thats where the blame lies, in the over-complicated bureacracy and idiocy of the EU superstate. Of course why let that get in the way of exploring the usual Mail narrative of 'immigrants get preferential treatment over the middle classes'.

Oh yeah and Nick, your title and first line directly contradict eachother, but proof reading never was a strong suit of the average nationalist was it?
