    Galloway Radio

    Hi,

I hear that having parted company with Talk Radio or Talk Sport or whatever it is called George Galloway has decided to start his own internet radio station.

    Regards,
    Greg L-W.

    That will be pretty pointless.
What's he going to call it? dhimmi radio?
I have a radio to listen to the radio, hardly anyone listens to these obscure stations on the Internet.

    Hi,

but usage is increasing and his MIGHT prove a draw card.

I have radios in most rooms but much of the time I run a programme in the background on the computer - but then again I do not have a TV - tossed it out years ago as no one ever watched it! Without buying loads of add ons the progs. on BBC ITV & 4 are so banal or just propaganda.

    Regards,
    Greg L-W.

so you are judging what you choose not to watch and assuming that you have to listen to that the majority of the country have either never heard of or wouldn't bother with anyway?

I shall go looking for this radio station. Despite being a conservative, I have a lot of time for George...

Just what use is the 'Respect Party? Did this party not break up, and GG start another political party because they disagree with each other. That is the problem with left wing political parties - they never seem seem to agree with each other, and are always fighting each other like ferrets in a sack, or like the 'Wee Free' churches in Scotland. Somebody get the hump, and they go off and start another party..... sheer idiocy.

It is hardly wonder that Lenin abolished all other Socialist Parties in the fledgling Soviet Union and made the Bolshevik Party the only one. He could see that the Left would always be fractured and uncooperative with each other. then when Lenin died, Unlce Joe Stalin got control and we all know the utter ruthless tyrant he became. So it would appear to the case in thsoe other so-called 'Socialistic Societies' aroudn teh World such as China, Cuba, North Korea and those otehr in East Africa who played with socialims.

Uncle Bob Mugabwe and Zanu-Pf is a typical case of so-called socialism going bad and being run by tyrants. But one has to say that the Right is just as bad in many states in South America. (PS:- Hitler's Nazi Party was called - National Socialism')

He's a Muslim apologist in my view - and gives the impression of being obsessed with the needs aspirations, plight and welfare of Muslims far beyond any concern for the ordinary Brits who may have voted for him.

I do not disagree with his views on all topics but do disagree completely with his cap-in-hand grovelling to Muslims and Islam in Britain.

I agree with you, but it concerns me that there are tones of Islamophobia in what you say. No-one needs to be an 'apologist' for Muslims, any more than they need be 'apologists' for Christians. Or schoolchildren. Or people who live in Norwich.

A phobia is an irrational fear Uganda - my position with regard to Islam's growing influence over British society is entirely rational I assure you.

If someone where to say "Mosley was an apologist for Nazism" would you likewise argue "No-one needs to be an 'apologist' for Nazis, any more than they need to be 'apologists' for socialism, Or schoolchildren. Or people who live in Norwich."?

In other words are you implying that the term 'apologist' has no legitimate use in social discourse?

    Harry.
